There are seven characteristics of online texts which are plasticity, links, tagging, searchers, templates, footprint and virtuality. To identify these characteristics we have been given this website and this work we have to do in pair work. The website which has been given to us to identify is www.esl.abt.com. When we open the website first of all we look for the plasticity characteristics and we found that in this website we can put, cut, paste and modify the information and this called plasticity where we can able copy the information in this web. Next, we found that there are many links in the website where we can find information through the links which found in the website. Then, we found tagging characteristics where when we type one single word for example hunt and it will give us all kind of meaning for the hunt words. Other than that the searches column is there in the website where we can search for other things on what we want to know. There many templates in this website. Furthermore, the footprints characteristics we can found from the history where it can show s us what website we had been access in two days back or two weeks back and so on. Finally, the virtuality characteristics where we can found in this website is that the student can go on forum if they have any question with teachers in this website.
